Conquering life
Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. (Joshua 6:1-2)
Father, I now realize that Jericho was not the exam or any challenges I face in this world, but my own sins and idols I have worshiped in place of you. Lord, help me to have strong faith that you have already delivered Jericho into my hands. Please help me to rid mysself of all the foreign gods and commit myself to you, and serve you only.. Through my daily repentence, I believe that you will deliver me out of the bondage of sins. Help me to set up many Ebenezers as I walk with you everyday Lord.
